2008 Bareboat Sailboat Fleet & Rates

Home > Charters > Sailing > Bareboat Sailing > Charter Rates

~ Single Day Rates | Multiple Day Rates ~

Our sailboats are equipped with wheel steering, diesel engines, and roller furling headsails. Most have natural gas or propane stoves with ovens, and all have hot/cold pressure water, refrigeration, stereo CD and/or cassette players, cockpit cushions, Coast Guard certified safety gear, and are insured for charter.

During & After Your Charter
  • During your pre-cruise checkout our staff will go over the boat systems with you. We will point out any areas of ongoing maintenance so that you will not be responsible for problems unrelated to your use of the boat.
  • Maximum of 6 passengers, but no less than 2, are allowed on the boat.
  • Bareboat charter reservations are non-cancelable and non-refundable. However, in the event of inclement weather or unsafe ocean conditions as determined by Dana Island Yachts, you will have the options of rescheduling or a full refund.
  • No fishing, diving equipment, or pets are permitted on the sailboats.
  • We take great pride in our fleet. Out of courtesy to the sailboat’s next guests, after your charter we ask that the boat be left in the same condition in which it was found. Bareboat Skippers & Crew will complete a post-cruise checklist that includes securing lines, hosing off the boat, replacing canvas, etc. This checklist will assist you in leaving the vessel clean and tidy.
Through the efforts of our experienced staff and your appreciation for our vessels, we hope to have you sail with us for many happy days upon the high seas!

Weekdays are considered Monday through Friday. Weekends are considered Saturday and Sunday. Bareboat fleet and rates are current as of November 2007, but are subject to change without notice. At this time no price increase is expected for bareboat charters in 2008.

Day Sailing (9 AM - Sunset)

• Charters begin no earlier than 9 AM. Boat must return before sunset (between 5 and 8 pm, depending on the time of year).
• To confirm a day sail, payment is due in full when reservation is made.
• Typical itinerary consists of a leisurely cruise along the scenic coast of Laguna Beach. If winds are favorable and you leave early in the morning, you might sail/motor to Newport Harbor.
