Dana Island Yachts has been an authorized agent for The Moorings International Yacht Charter Company for over 15 years. TheMoorings has charter fleets in the Caribbean, South Pacific, Mediterranean, and Mexico. Sailing yachts available for charter range from 32 to 51 feetand can accommodate up to 10 passengers.

The Moorings offers "bareboat" charters, where you drive the boat or "crewed charters" with either a captain, a cook or both. The moorings fleet is custom built by Beneteau of France with many special features and back up systems.

Bases in the Caribbean are located in: Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Oyster Pond in St Martin, Point A Pitre in Guadeloupe, Le Marin in Martinique, Marigot Bay in St. Lucia, and Secret Harbor in Grenada. They also have a base at Marsh Harbor in the Bahamas for snorkeling, diving, and fabulous sailing!

For those who enjoy abundant sea life and deserted islands, the base in La Paz, Mexico in the "Sea Of Cortez", offers a sailing area unique to all of the other bases. 

South Pacific bases consist of: The Fiji Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand, and Australia. A sailing vacation to one of the island groups combined with a visit to New Zealand and/or Australia makes for a great vacation package!

The Mediterranean bases are: Greece, Turkey, France, Spain and Brittany. Some countries have 2 or 3 Bases each! Enjoy historical harbors and beautiful coastlines while sailing in an area of unsurpassed beauty and culture.
